The Rockets Are Coming 1961 Ford ThunderbirdsThe Rockets Are Coming.These Rockets were the 1961 Ford Thunderbirds.They came in convertibles,hardtops,and those valuable of all the speedsters.The had long rocket cigar fenders with turbine type lights.The front fenders started out straight and long then curved down to a point on each side.They are the favorates of the sixties.This style went on for three years,from 1961 to 1963.They allso kept the speedster for three years,1961 to 1963.Round 2 came back with the 1962 Convertible Speedster of the Thunderbird.A model kit you can build.But as for the 1960 and 1961 they cost alot of money in any style.
